Punta Piedra

What a gem of a spot! Our family of 2 adults and 2 young girls kids had a fantastic time. The pool overlooking the ocean was amazing. Comfortable, clean and simple beach bungalow. Very attentive service from the staff, we requested a blender and plates and they brought them over right away. We will definitely return!! Only improvements I could offer are the bed was quite soft and the wifi was spotty at times but it didn’t detract much from our stay.

We just spent 6 nights at Punta Piedra.We were in studio #3. It was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. (It was not cleaned during our stay which was fine for us but might bother others). There are 2 queen beds. One was super comfy, the other less so. The sheets were spotless and beautifully soft. There were lots of towels for the 4 of us. For bathing and the pool. The shower had plenty of hot water, but not great pressure. (Bring your own toiletries.) The fridge/freezer worked great. And there was a huge supply of drinking water. I couldn't fault the studio. Right outside the bedroom door was the pool, which was clean and really great. The kids loved it. (If you are worried about kids being near water this might not be the place for you. We loved it! And had to the pool mostly to ourselves all week). There was also a shaded table and chairs for dinning right outside. And beach and pool loungers. The other side of the pool was a beautiful private beach. It was heavenly. Waking up to fresh coffee on the beach as sun rise or drinking beers as the sunset was magical. It is a little noisy with traffic at night in the room, but it didnt bother us and was otherwise v quiet. And it isn't pitch dark due to street light, again didn't bother us too much. We walked in and out of the main town, with a stroller, no problem. It was maybe a 7min taxi ride. Was easy enough to get taxis. There were also many eateries within a short walking distance and multiple grocery stores. The owners are also super nice and responsive. The only "warning" per say is not to leave anything out overnight. A brand new pair of haviannas were taken on our first night from our back door. Our own fault for leaving them outside. The place is so idealic its hard not to quickly become complacent. If we are ever lucky enough to return to isla Mujeres we 100% will stay here again. We wouldn't even look elsewhere. An incredible week.

Wonderful airbnb location. There was a shared pool available, beach access (being water shoes and watch your step, it's not all sand - rocks and big shells underfoot), a super comfy bed and not too far from the tourist attractions and downtown. The booking went smoothly and there was quick response when we needing something. 12/10, definitely recommend this place
